This lake is a natural attraction, surrounded by giant mountains of the Andes and formed by melting glaciers. It only takes one day to visit and it’s an easy journey if you have previously acclimatized yourself in Cusco. You will walk up to the top of the mountain, which is at 4,180 meters above sea level, and see beautiful landscapes, crops of different products such as corn, avocado, squash and others that are produced in this valley.

Humantay Lake is considered a jewel of nature because of the turquoise color of its waters. This is due to the mineral found at the bottom of the lake. You’ll enjoy the impressive views of the mountains surrounding it.
